Hi there! Welcome to my blog.

I am food lover, currently living in the US with my lovely hubby, and an adorable son and beautiful daughter. I am originally from India. I am research scientist by profession and cooking is my hobby. Cooking gives me happiness to see anyone relishing a well made dish.

Cooking happened to me when I was a kid helping my mother in kitchen. Grew up watching my mom prepare some of the most simple and complex recipes and have picked up some tips and tricks along the way. Most of the recipes, cooking tips and tricks I learned from my mom, mother-in-law, friends, cook books and internet. Cooking to me is like a journey. Every day something new can be tried or try something different and improve on what you already know. To me it inspires creativeness that brings in inner happiness and satisfaction. It is a matter of inner joy. I have learned that pure and simple cooking brings friends and family together. This blog is a space where you will find pure vegetarian recipes (not even an egg) from all over the world with which you can reach into the heart of your loved ones.

Last but not least, how can I forget my hubby who encouraged and inspired me to start my own collection of recipes. He enjoys cooking, more importantly photographing the recipes which takes form in our kitchen.  He provides honest feedback which makes it easier to identify the areas where I need to focus.

To me, my blog is a way of thanking my mom and mother in law and to documenting my culinary journey. Hope someday this blog will help my kids as well.
