Low calories drink….Refreshing Honeydew Mint Cooler

Summer has arrived and honeydew are available in abundance here in US. Honeydew and mint cooler is a perfect summer drink to beat the heat. This drink is definitely low-fat and low-sugar since no milk nor cream is used and the only sugar you get is the natural sugar of the honeydew. This simple and refreshing honeydew cooler is so easy, kids can make it. Just blend honeydew, add mint and lemon juice mix all, and serve.

Ingredients:

  • One small Honeydew
  • A small handful of mint leaves
  • Juice of one lemon

Directions:

Scoop out the seeds of the honeydew with a spoon. Scoop out the flesh and put in the blender with the mint leaves. Squeeze the lemon straight into the blender. Process the mixture until smooth.
Strain the mixture for an even smoother texture.
Ladle or pour the strained liquid into glasses.
Serve chilled. Hmmmm Delicious!
